H*Town Drill Downs is a competitive event hosted at Lindyfest. Swing dance moves are called out, similar to square dancing. Participants strive to avoid being the last person incorrectly executing a move to emerge as the winner. The presented design was employed for buttons awarded to both the victors and participants of the competition.
The logo employs a handwritten typeface for "H Town" and a robust, heavy typeface for "drill downs." The asterisk in H*Town mimics the Philips drive/recess of a screw head.
